I deal with a lot of insecure people. I am unsure how they find me, but they do, and I always have to speak life into them. I’ve never been insecure so I cannot relate in that area, but I am always letting the most insecure people know how beautiful they are inside and out. I believe that true beauty comes from within. No matter how you look at yourself in the mirror, I want to let you know that you’re beautiful.
I’ve seen many attractive people who have the most nastiest/ugliest attitudes. Because of that, their beauty becomes tainted. I no longer see a beautiful person. I can’t… the evil within has consumed them. So much so, that it pours over into their outer appearance. I was one. No matter how attractive I may have been to others, the ugliness in my heart poured over into the physical. I would get a lot of, “You’re beautiful, but your attitude makes you ugly.”
To the people who feel unattractive, insecure, unseen, unheard, over-looked, skipped, or whatever else, I see you! You’re beautiful. No one can take away the beauty that lies within, except you. Don’t allow the heaviness life brings to turn you ugly on the inside. Beauty is fleeting. We will get older, wrinkled, and stretched. It will happen to most of us, but our character should outshine any physical attribute.
This week, let someone struggling with their appearance, self-esteem, or worth, know they are beautiful. It may be the push they need to keep believing. Some people need to hear it. And remember, you are beautiful too!
