Stress, sometimes called the “silent killer,” is a struggle many of us battle. Whether it be falling behind on bills, being nervous about test results, or juggling parenting and a career at the same time, it can strain us mentally. When a woman is pregnant, doctors often suggest to her, “try not to stress.” Stress can have an effect not only on our mental health but our physical health as well. There are 5 helpful things that we can do to help with stress which is:
- 1. Acknowledging that you are stressed.
- 2. Exercising regularly
- 3. Improving your diet
- 4. Time management
- 5. Talking to specialists or people closest to you

Life is hard, but it is important for us to not stress over things we have no control over. In this case, we should pray, put our trust in God, and know that faith moves Him. Remember to endure. The suffering is only for a little while. This week I challenge you to try the 5 things mentioned above and see if it helps relieve any stress you may have.
