Patience

Sometimes I want things to happen quickly, but I’m also content with the learning experiences when things don’t happen so soon. There are lessons, growth, and even revelation that take place. You get to learn things about yourself as your patience is being stretched. Heck, you may even realize that you need patience.

What is it that you’re waiting on that has resulted in tremendous growth during the waiting period? What new things have you discovered about yourself? Think about it. It can be a start towards self-awareness. In the waiting, the aching, the trials, or affliction, it doesn’t have to be all gloom.

My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:2-4)

Patience can be uncomfortable, but it has its perks too! You get to discover things about yourself. Have an amazing week!
