Just Do It

There are a few skills I have learned over the past few months that I never thought I’d be good at. Learning new things can seem intimidating at first, but once you step out in faith and do it… it can turn around in your favor. I’ve also started a new project that I was afraid to do, but after doing it, I felt called. My heart was glad. Same for the new skills. You never know just how far you can go until you just do it. Are there some things on your “to-do list” that you feel unsure about? I dare you to make a move towards it.

Sometimes we doubt ourselves and even the enemy can plant seeds of doubt telling you that you are not good enough or that you will fail. The thing about life is, it’s okay to fail, as long as you try it again. You won’t know how good you are until you silence those deceiving thoughts and fill your thoughts with confidence. The Bible says that you’re more than a conqueror. “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37). Next time that idea pops up in your head, tell yourself, “Just do it!”

This week I want you to write down whatever it is that you think you can’t do, that you haven’t tried to do. Pray about it first, to see if it is according to God’s will. If you get a yes about it or feel led in your heart to do it, it will not hurt to try. Pick your head up and keep pushing. Stop procrastinating! You become your own worst enemy when you doubt yourself or give up. So, this week I encourage you… Just do it.
